Dr. Altman received his Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.

In addition to the treatement of disorders and diseases of the ear, nose and throat (ENT) in both adults and children, Dr. Altman has a special interest in the care of the professional voice as well as the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

Throughout medical school, residency and private practice, Dr. Altman has contributed to the field of Otolaryngology with multiple publications. Dr. Altman currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Arrowhead Hospital.

When not working, Dr. Altman enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as exercise, hiking Camelback Mountain, and woodturning.
